ECHO recently held an event to thank its volunteers during National Volunteer Week. It was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge all those who give generously of their time to ECHO – our drivers and assistants, event and office support, as well as our board members. The event was made possible as a result of a National Volunteer Week 2002 grant, supported by Lotterywest.

Our annual client Christmas get-together was well attended with guests celebrating the festive season with a traditional Chrissy lunch at the Mount Lawley Golf Club. It was the first time this event was held at this venue and it didn’t disappoint. The golf course provided a gorgeous backdrop to the festivities taking place inside – entertainment by Peter Delle Coste and The Christmas Consort, an array of prizes being handed out in our super raffle, the very popular photo-booth and of course, the laughter and smiles of our amazing guests. We’ll be doing it all again next year so please remember to mark this one in your calendar for 2022!
