Mr Manraj Khosa – Chair
ECHO Chair Manraj Khosa holds law degrees from both England and Australia, and he is a nationally accredited mediator.
Manraj has 30 years of professional experience in England, Singapore, and Australia, working in corporate law, commercial law and intellectual property law, with additional experience in publicly listed companies. His fields of experience include corporate restructure and reorganisation, forensic corporate investigations, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and corporate governance.
Manraj developed his passion for community services while serving as Chairman of the Board at Share and Care Community Services Group. He now volunteers his time for not-for-profit organisations like ECHO and serves as an advisory board member of a Perth philanthropic foundation.
Mr Rod Attrill – Deputy Chair
Deputy Chair Rod Attrill is the CEO of Woolworths Team Bank (WTB), which operates across the mutual banking industry in Australia. He’s been working in the finance industry in a range of roles and organisations for over 30 years, beginning his career in Western Australia before taking on more nationally focused positions with Bank of Queensland (BOQ) and Compare the Market.
Across his varied career Rod had developed expertise in frontline operations, customer service, lending, administration, marketing and human resources.
Holder of an MBA and a number of other qualifications in Management and Finance, Rod serves as the board secretary for WTB, as well as filling a number of committee roles in that business. He also has a passion for the not-for-profit sector, contributing as a trustee for the Australian Mutual History Trust.
Ms Amarja Ringay – Secretary
Amarja Ringay has been General Manager Finance for Ertech Group since 2011. She is a certified practicing accountant with over 20 years’ finance and corporate governance experience in the Resources and Civil Construction industries.
Skilled in business analysis and business enhancement projects, financial accounting, treasury, taxation and commercial contracts, Amarja is also a Chartered Company Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Commercial and Resources Law from UWA.
Mr Jeffrey Nurse – Treasurer
Treasurer Jeffrey Nurse has over 30 years of experience as a finance and corporate governance professional. He was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for an ASX-listed company for seven years. He has also been the Manager and Head of Syndications for a large Japanese commercial bank in its debt syndications division in Hong Kong.
Jeffrey is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Company Secretary, holding a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA from the University of Western Australia. He is currently studying for a Master of Taxation at Curtin University.
Ms Flora Chong – Board Member
Flora Chong has 20 years’ experience in various clinical and health care management roles, spanning the aged care, hospital and disability sectors.
One of her current roles involves running a business providing health care services to the disadvantaged. She has also been instrumental in establishing disability housing for NDIS clients.
Flora is a current member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Occupational Therapy of Australia. She has held various advisory roles in the not-for-profit sector and is passionate about clinical governance, innovation, adaptability, change management, and strategic planning and vision.
Ms Sonia Miller – Board Member
Sonia Miller is Senior Corporate Affairs Advisor for Woodside Energy. She has worked across various industries for leading organisations including Rio Tinto, Alcoa, BankWest, Western Power, Telstra and WA General Practice Education & Training.
Sonia has extensive experience in stakeholder and community engagement as well as change management and communication strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Business, and she is a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and an Associate Fellow with the Australian Institute of Management.
